Kit allowing the build of a DIY wheel for Thrusmaster bases. The board can be connected directly to the base to communicate natively, send up to 30 inputs (26 buttons/encoders/etc and a hat switch) and receive Leds information (15 leds, only on bases supporting it, like T300 or TS-PC Racer) by emulating a Thrustmaster Ferrari 488 Challenge Edition wheel. If you need more inputs or if you want to manage leds in RGB with SimHub, you will have to get the power supply from the base by using a printed ub, a SamD21 WB radio and a NRF Dongle plugged in the PC. Note : Thrustmaster bases give only a 3.3V power supply and the bases we've tested are not powerful enough to power a Nextion screen (even with a 5V booster).

USB-C extension, so you'll be able to recharge the battery or reprogram the NRF52840 board without having to open your wheel.

This cable enables the connection of a SAMD21 WB or MMWB board to a min-din pcb of a printed hub for Thrustmaster base or a Zenky/D1 Spec QR.

Printed in PLA, this hub is compatible with Thrustmaster bases, designed and printed by Electroseed.
 
 
It can be mounted with a Zenky / D1 Spec QR. The pass-through holes (either 6 x 70mm or 6 x 74 mm) enables to mount QRs in any direction (female part on the base side or on the wheel side). You can also directly mount your custom wheel without QR.
 
 
The 6-pin mini-din connector is present and is accessible with 2 x 3-pin dupont headers, which allows you to directly use our SamD21 WB TM boards to create your custom wheel (cable is included with the hub).

Packages for using Node Blue. Packages are bound to a board, so you'll have to buy them for each board you wish to program. Only boards proposed on ElectroSeed shop are supported.

Standard parckage includes the modules listed in the description.

"Gaming Device" option allows to program the board so it will be seen by the PC as a standard gaming device (no drivers to install). To choose freely the device name, you must choose the Pro package.

"Display" option gives you access to all the modules that deals with display : RGB Leds, 7 segments displays, Nextion screens, TFT/Oleds/etc. screens.

ElectroSeed SamD21 WB USB

The ElectroSeed SamD21 WB USB board offers 36 USB inputs/outputs, including 14 analog inputs. 4 analog inputs have pull-up resistors, which allows direct connection of bodacs, thus adding the possibility of connecting 20 additional buttons.

 

The 5v is available around the serial port to connect a Nextion screen or a 7-segment display. The 5v is also exposed to connect RGB leds. Screen and leds are managed with SimHub software.

 

The following connectors are also proposed :

  • A 4-pin JST 2.0 connector to easily connect an aviation connector.
  • A USB-C connector to program the board or connect a USB extension.
  • A 2-pin JST 2.0 connector with 5v to power permanently button leds for example.

 

If you choose a customized firmware option, NodeBlue package is included with the board, so you can have any configuration you need. A configuration form will be sent after your order, so you can specify the desired programming. The board will be programmed accordingly and the wiring schematics will be provided.  You can check here if your configuration is possible.
